Individual buyer in Metro Atlanta

I’m an independently sponsored searcher looking to acquire a single business in metro Atlanta, where I’ll step in as full-time CEO for the long term.

If you've built a company and are thinking about what comes next, I'd like to be the person who carries it forward. I'm not a fund, and I'm not looking to flip it.

What makes a good fit

I'm open to any industry. What matters is how the business is built.

  • B2B and B2C service businesses

Companies that serve other businesses, households, or both.

  • Recurring revenue

Contracts, subscriptions, or customers who come back year after year.

  • Low customer concentration

No single customer above 15% of revenue.

Not sure your business fits? Reach out anyway. A good business with a good team matters more to me than a perfect match on paper.

How a sale to me works

A straightforward process, with you informed at every step.

  1. Week 1

    Introductory call

We talk about your business, your goals and your timing. No paperwork.

  2. Weeks 2–4

    NDA and financial review

I sign a confidentiality agreement before you share anything sensitive.

  3. Weeks 4–6

    Letter of intent

A clear written offer covering price, structure and your transition role.

  4. 60–90 days

    Diligence and financing

Quality of earnings, legal review and SBA lender approval, run in parallel.

  5. After closing

    Closing and transition

We work side by side so customers and staff see continuity.

About me

My name is Nicolas Tyler McCalop, and I go by Nic. I'm an Atlanta native and have watched this city grow into the place it is today.

I studied here, too: undergrad at Morehouse College and an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. For the past ten years I've worked in consulting, primarily in finance operations at Big 4 and middle-market private equity firms, supporting private equity and large enterprise clients.

That work taught me how well-run businesses actually operate: the systems, the numbers and, most of all, the people. I want to put that experience to work running yours.

After more than a decade helping other people's companies run better from the outside, I want to commit to one business for the next few decades.

My goal is to earn the trust of your employees, customers and suppliers, and to build a legacy I can pass on to future generations.

Let's have a confidential conversation.

Owners, brokers and advisors: send a note with a little about the business, or ask to set up a call. I reply to every message personally.
